The Witcher

Two story collections, one saga, no spoilers — toss a coin and start in the right place.

Andrzej Sapkowski's Witcher books begin as sharp, fairy-tale-twisting short stories and grow into a five-novel saga about destiny, war, and a girl the whole Continent is hunting. The games and the show are sequels and adaptations — the books are where it all starts, and reading order genuinely matters.
